Old Town Alexandria: Bread and Chocolate, Old Town Deli and Flat Iron Steak and Saloon

I wanted to fit all of my lunch ventures in Old Town to one week so you get 3 mini reviews today.

Bread and Chocolate. My friend and I decided to split two sandwiches, the French Dip and the California Croissant (turkey, sun-dried tomato pesto and avocado). The French Dip was good - very flavorful, I'd come back and get it. The California Croissant was a letdown. At a french bakery you expect quality baked goods and the croissant was not very appetizing.
Would I come back? Yes, if I was in the area. I wouldn't walk the ~mile from my office to eat here, but if I were a couple of minutes away I would.

Old Town Deli. A deli (with greek specialities!) that delivers? Sign me up. I ordered the schwarma salad and my friend got the Athenian Chicken. Despite the small container, the salad was jam packed and delicious.
Would I come back? Yes, I have my eye on the gyro. Nom.

Flat Iron Steak and Saloon. I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately it was a let down. We got the two steak sandwiches on the menu - the French Dip and the Chipotle Steak. The meat was bland and nothing was very good-not bad, but not good. The french dip was much better at Bread and Chocolate.
Would I come back? Probably not, but never say never.
