Momofuku Milk Bar in East Village

On a past trip to NYC I stopped by Momofuku Milk Bar, another famed Momofuku restaurant (I have also been to the Noodle Bar). They are known for an array of desserts so I had to try a few things.

The Cereal Milk Soft Serve was really good. I have never been one to drink my milk after finishing my cereal (I know it's wasteful, but I only pour a little milk so I don't waste much) but I loved this. The cornflake crunch on the outside was awesome. I would get this again.
As for the cookies, I got some sort of chocolate I don't remember, a Compost Cookie and a Blueberry and Cream cookie. All of the cookies were ehh. They were not bad but when I feel like I could make them myself, they will not win me over. Out of the 3 I tried, the compost was definitely the best because there were more complex and original flavors in it.
While I didn't enjoy the baked goods, the Cereal Milk soft serve was awesome, and I have heard rave reviews about some of their other items. This place is worth a shot, try the Cereal Milk soft serve or some fun baked good (I've heard their crack pie is a winner :)  I will be back to try a funfetti cookie or their new Green Apple Cheddar soft-serve.
